
Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service says to expect potential traffic delays while the vehicle is recovered.
Crews from Stroud and Gloucester attended the incident on the southbound carriageway at junction 13 (Stroud) and junction 14 (Thornbury and Falfield).
The lorry driver was released before the rescue service arrived.
GlosFire were called by police at 10.04am.
