The coronavirus death toll has increased by a quarter at the Gloucestershire Hospitals Trust over the weekend, the latest official figures show.
NHS England figures show 88 people had died in hospital at the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as of 5pm on Sunday.
That was an increase of 26 percent compared to the 70 that had been recorded at the same point on Friday.
They were among 500 deaths recorded across the South West.
Of the 21 trusts across the South West, the Gloucestershire Hospitals trust has the highest death toll.
Across England, the death toll hit 11,329 on Monday.
Separate figures from the Department of Health and Social Care show 644 people had tested positive for Covid-19 in Gloucestershire as of 9am on Monday.
Across the UK, there has been 88,621 confirmed cases.
