Crews called to fire at derelict building in Stroud

EMERGENCY services were called to a fire in a derelict building in Stroud yesterday evening.

Fire fighters from Nailsworth and Stroud attended the incident at a premises in Dudbridge Hill at 6.30pm yesterday.

Three fire engines were sent – two from Stroud and one from Nailsworth.

The building was 100 per cent damaged by fire and crews used three jets and six sets of breathing apparatus to put it out.

Crews left the scene at 8.55pm.
