Yate Town Council says it is is delighted to announce the launch of the Yate Ageing Better, Dementia Café!
It opens tomorrow, Friday, from 1.30pm until 3pm, at the Pop Inn Café in Yate Shopping Centre.
The Dementia Café invites those with dementia and their carers, to enjoy free refreshments and friendly company, every first Friday of the month, from 1.30pm until 3pm, at the Pop Inn Café, West Walk, Yate.
“If you are living with, or caring for dementia, we hope to see you there,” said a Yate Town Council spokesperson.
“We encourage our community, to share this exciting news with their friends and family, and to send us their ideas, for ways our community can improve, for dementia.”
Where the first Friday of the month is a bank holiday, the Dementia Café will open on the following Friday, the second Friday of the month.
