A cotswold charity has been handed a cheque for more than £200.
Longfield Hospice Care received a cheque for £288 from Cirencester Soroptimists’ charitable trust, the Dorothy Minnis Trust on January 31.
The money donated to the charity will go towards paying for new family carer advice booklets.
Longfield provides specialist services for adults in Gloucestershire affected by life-limiting illness.
During 2019, with funding from Hospice UK and St James’s Place, Longfield have a new programme of practical support to reach more family carers, including men, who are less likely to seek help until a crisis occurs.
