ENGLAND legend Gary Neville took to social media to congraulate Forest Green Rovers on their promotion to League One yesterday.
The former Manchester United and England defender, who now appears on Sky Sports as a pundit, is a part-owner of fellow League 2 side Salford City.
FGR clinched their promotion to League 1 after a 0-0 draw with Bristol Rovers.
Mr Neville took to Twitter to send his congratulations to both Forest Green Rovers and Dale Vince for their exceptional achievement this season.
Neville described Rovers as ‘the best team in the league’ and a ‘club that does many great things.’

His Salford City side are just outside the play-offs.
