STROUD Goodwill Evening returns on Friday (December 2) with the usual vibrant parade, stalls and entertainment.
Here is everything you need to know
A lantern procession on the theme of air starts from the Sub Rooms at 6pm headed by Father Christmas which will snake through town to begin a night of late night shopping and entertainment.
There will be live music, crafts fairs, Morris dancers, a fun fair in Fawkes Place, fire jugglers, a brass band and plenty of food and drink.
Roads in the town centre will be closed from 5pm to 9pm.
There will be dozens of food and drink stalls in town on the evening situated around the Cornhill area and down into The Five Valleys Shopping Centre.
Lansdown Hall will also be open for hot drinks, raffles and an indoor market and don’t forget to visit the Christmas Tree exhibition at St Laurence’s Church.
In addition, the Stroud Town Council offices will be open as a wellbeing space.
There is also an opportunity for some late night shopping around the whole town with most shops staying open until 9pm.
