A FAIRFORD man who failed to provide a specimen of blood has been banned from driving.

William Hunt, 25, of Saxon Way, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before Swindon Magistrates Court on February 9.

Hunt was stopped by police in Swindon on October 10, 2020, and ordered to provide a specimen of blood but failed to do so.

Hunt was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £200, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
