Fans go wild in Stroud pubs as England demolish Ukraine in Euro quarter finals

THESE euphoric scenes in Stroud capture the mood across the country as England cruise into an historic Euro 2020 semi-final clash at Wembley on Wednesday.

Harry Kane’s team enjoyed a blistering victory over Ukraine winning 4-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome securing a semi-final place for the first time in 25 years.

Jubilant fans roared with joy at the Queen Vic, the Prince of Wales and the Carlton Club, where photographer Simon Pizzey took these pictures last night.

Although streets were deserted during the game, it certainly wasn’t quiet in town with ecstatic cheers coming from pubs, homes and gardens with each goal – two from Harry Kane, one from Harry Maguire and a final one from Jordan Henderson.

Celebrations continue with the Three Lions now one step closer to Euro 2020 glory.
