BRAVE daredevils are being invited to take on a fire walk challenge in Minchinhampton.
Organised by Longfield Community Hospice the event will see fearless participants walk 15 feet over hot coals at 550 degrees Celsius.
The bucket-list challenge will be supported by one of the UK’s leading Fire Walk companies, UK Fire Walk.
Fire walkers will receive training from Scott Bell, who is a two-time Guinness World Record holder for the greatest fire walking distance.
The challenge will take place in the hospice’s grounds in December.
Kirsty Owen-Hayward from Longfield’s fundraising team has promised attendees that they will be in ‘safe hands’.
She said: “Please come along, face your fears and take on this amazing festive challenge for Longfield.
“We promise you’ll be in safe hands!
“Not everyone can say they’ve walked on fire, and you’ll be raising money for a worthwhile local cause, helping provide free care for patients across Gloucestershire and support for their families and carers too.”
The hospice is offering a 20% discount on the cost of tickets for the rest of October – tickets are now just £24 per person.
They are asking that fire walkers pledge to raise £75 or more in sponsorship.
