Five months of road closures are planned for Stow.
From August 2 to December 31 of this year, several main roads running through the Cotswold town will close, the town council has confirmed.
This is to allow for carriageway resurfacing to take place.
The roads affected are as follows:
- A429/Moreton Road, Stow on the Wold (from Broadwell to Stow Road to A429)
- A429/Fosseway, Stow on the Wold (from Moreton Road to B4068 Lower Swell Road)

- B4077/Tewkesbury Road, Stow on the Wold (from Evesham Road to Lower Swell to Upper Swell)
Precise dates for the closures have not yet been confirmed.
However, the council website states that each road will close only from 7pm to 7am.
Additionally, advance warnings of the dates will be displayed on signs on the roads.
