Flooding after the River Severn on top of that River Wye has bump roads across Gloucestershire, by using drivers warned of attaque, low visibility and becoming stranded.
One roads have been closed, some are at a standstill and others are highly clogged.
The A40 dual carriageway at Highnam and Over often is closed both ways, associated with traffic from the Forest of the Dean is being turned around.
Some lane on the M5 southbound towards Brockworth bypass, Crickley Hl and Swindon are and also gradually disappearing under water.
Lane 6 between junction 11 and moreover 11a on the M5 is closed whilst police recover a car that’s embedded throughout central reservation.
All three roads by means Bledington have beed closed up.
“Please be aware that accidents happen at fast flowing floodwater such avoid walking or generating in or near floodwater, ” Gloucestershire Constabulary psoted on Facebook.
“Take care from the event must go into flood moving water as there could be hidden cracked like sharp objects, grown manhole covers and co2. ”
A flood warning has also been in place on the Stream Severn at Severn Ham since this morning.
