Four men have been arrested following a police chase on the A419.
Officers from Wiltshire police were called to reports of a burglary in Swindon town centre on Thursday.
They had received a call at around 3am reporting four men had off from a house on Park Lane.
Their car and van were spotted driving north on the A419 with the pursuit continuing into Gloucestershire.
Four men, aged between 20 and 30 from Wolverhampton, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in custody.
When police returned to the burgled house they found 150 cannabis plants.
Duty Insp Alex Spargo said: “This was excellent policing by all officers involved, including those across the county border who assisted in the arrest of the four men.
“The vehicles involved were seized as part of our enquiries and a number of items were located including a knife, a large quantity of cash and cannabis.
“We are extremely grateful to the member of the public who initially reported their concerns regarding the suspicious activity in Park Lane which enabled us to make these arrests and subsequently locate a substantial cannabis factory.”
