Four people charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine in Stroud

Four people have been arrested and charged in connection with an investigation into the supply of drugs in Stroud.

Isobel Jones, 41, of no fixed abode, Phillip Keens, 48, of Bowbridge Lock, Stroud, Chilah Mathew, 26, of Wessex Lane, London, and Laura Simons, 25, of Mathews Way, Stroud, all face charges of supplying Class A drugs.

Simons has also been charged with possessing a blade in a public place.

The charges relate to a crime operation that has been running for a number of months to tackle the supply of Class A controlled drugs.

Officers seized more than £4,000 worth of crack cocaine and heroin and over £6,000 in cash.

The four have been remanded to appear in court at a later date.
