Full list of warm spaces in or near Stroud

Warm spaces are places where people can gather free-of-charge in a warm, safe, welcoming place if they are struggling to heat their home.

Each space is independently run by a community organisation.

Some offer hot drinks and other services such as free Wi-Fi, activities and pay-as-you-feel cafes.

Here is the list in full, provided by Stroud District Council. 

Bisley

Bisley WI Village Hall, Manor St, Bisley

Tuesday – 13:30-16:30 – Hot drinks & food, WIFI, kids toys, games and activities.

Brimscombe

Stroud Brewery, London Road, Brimscombe  

Accessible toilet

Open to use as a public living room weekday daytime. Sofas, laptops space for workers, free wifi and sockets.

Wheelchair access, accessible toilet, nappy changing table, play corner with some books and toys too.

Free or cheap social activities: board games nights, knit and natter, singles night, £3 quiz.

Cainscross

St Matthew’s Church Hall, Church Road, Cainscross

Cashes Green

Thursday – 10:00-12:00 – Cakes, hot drinks and a warm welcome.

Friday – 14:00-17:00 – Delicious hot meals, tea and coffee. Eat-in/takeaway. Pay as you can.

Chalford

Frith Youth Centre, Brownshill, Chalford

Friday – 12:00-14:00 – Drinks and a simple meal provided e.g. soup or jacket potato.

Eastcombe
