Gloucestershire will enter Collection 4 from midnight at some point.
Currently the change means all non-essential shops, hairdressers, along with leisure and entertainment sites will have to close.
Brad Hancock announced the collection changes in a statement in the House in Commons this afternoon.
He said that one particular Oxford vaccine means your day on which restrictions are elevated can be brought forward.
He explained to MPs: “It brings onward the day on which we can enhance the restrictions that nobody in this House wants to see more any longer than are absolutely necessary.
“But we must act to reduce the virus now, not slightest because the new variant the actual time between now and then even more difficult.
“And such whilst we have the good news within your vaccine today, we also have to take some difficult decisions.
“I know that Tier 3 because 4 measures place a noticeable burden on people, and even on businesses affected, yet I am afraid it is essential because of the number of cases that we have seen. ”
Three quarters of the place will be in Tier nearly four by Thursday morning.
