Gloucestershire’s Easter weekend is set to be a chocolate-meltingly warm one.
The latest Met Office forecast for the extended bank holiday has the county hitting 19C on Good Friday and 18C on Easter Saturday – warmer even than party island Ibiza.
It will be dry throughout, so the barbecues can come out and stay out.
The UV levels are forecast to be ‘moderate’ which means there is a risk of sunburn unless people take sensible precautions.
Temperatures are set to peak from 1pm-4pm.
For the rest of the week leading up to Friday, it’s set to stay dry but a touch cooler at about 14C most days.
Hay fever sufferers are being warned of high pollen counts on Wednesday and Thursday.
