TWO members of a golf club in Dursley have been confirmed to have been diagnosed with coronavirus.

The golfers are both members of Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club.

The golf club has said it will remain open, in line with current Government advice.

In an email to members, the club’s manager said: “We have two members who have tested positive for coronavirus.

“One member visited the club on Saturday, March 7 prior to testing.

“The club was notified on Tuesday, March 10 of the situation.

“In line with current Government advice the general committee has decided to keep the clubhouse and course open.

“The situation is being carefully monitored and any changes to advice or circumstances will be reviewed and the appropriate action taken.”
