Kevin Price, aged 40, of Orchard Close, Yate, has been ordered to pay £505 after he was caught without a ticket worth just £17.20 at Bristol Parkway Station on October 25.
The case was dealt with at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Monday (March 27).
Besides a £220 fine, Price must also pay £17.20 in compensation, an £88 victim services surcharge plus costs of £180.
The total of £505.20 must be paid by April 24.
