A campaign has been launched to support hospices and care providers in Gloucestershire.
Hearts for Hospices is raising funds to keep their vital work going, in the face of fundraising events being cancelled and charity shops being closed.
People are being encouraged to show their support for nurses, care specialists and the patients they look after by sending a heart through social media, making a donation, and then nominating others to do so.
Participants should tag @hearts.for.hospices on Instagram, make a £5 donation and then nominate three friends to do the same.
The campaign is aiming to raise £10,000 which will be split between St Peter’s Hospice, Longfield Community Hospice Care, Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice and Penny Brohn.
