HOMES in Berkeley are not affected by a fire safety barrier fault, a developer has confirmed.
Concerns arose when it was reported that some of the homes built by Persimmon Homes had been constructed without essential barriers to slow the spread of fire.
Building regulations rule that the flame-resistant material must be installed in roof spaces and wall cavities.
But Persimmon Homes found it was missing from some properties on estates in the south west.
A spokesman from Persimmon Homes, said: “All properties on Canonbury Rise, Berkeley have been inspected prior to occupation and none are affected by this issue.”
