HUNDREDS of people marched through Cirencester this morning to protest against Boris Johnson’s plan to close Parliament.
The protestors joined thousands of others across the UK who have taken to the streets in protest this morning.
Boris Johnson’s decision to suspend Parliament has received strong opposition from MPs and opponents of a no-deal Brexit.
A petition against Boris Johnson’s plan has received more than a million signatures.
And yesterday, former Tory Prime Minister Sir John Major said that he will be teaming up with anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller to oppose the decision to suspend Parliament in the courts.
He believes that the prime minister’s proposal is designed to stop MPs from opposing a no-deal Brexit.
