A STROUD cafe is celebrating the quintessentially English custom of afternoon tea.
Little Ginger Deli and Cafe on Kendrick Street is serving up bumper sharing platters for friends and family to enjoy.
Loaded with sweet and savoury delights, including scones, clotted cream and jam, club sandwiches with various fillings, and much more, it looks like a very filling feast.
A member of the cafe team said: “No one has ever managed to finish one of our afternoon teas. Are you up for the challenge?”
She added: “But you don’t need to worry, we never have any waste.
“The customers take home what’s left from the afternoon teas, my staff take home food at the end of the day and I regularly go out on the street with anything spare.”
