THE OWNER of a popular cafe in the Stroud High Street has sent a heartfelt message after its closure.
Just before Christmas Loganberry owner Janette Brain said she was going to shut the independent cafe on Christmas Eve.
“After two years keeping you supplied with coffee, cake and sausage rolls, I have decided to give myself a break and spend a little more time with my family,” she said when announcing the closure.
“I have enjoyed your company and cheerful banter, words of encouragement and praise of the cake.”
Janette has now left a heartfelt message in the window of the cafe.
“I have been very touched by all your appreciative comments about me and the Loganberry team when you heard we were closing,” read the sign.
“The last two and a half years have been a blast.
“I shall miss you all.”
