TWO teenage boys, aged 13 and 15, from Malmesbury have been arrested early this morning.
The 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery while the 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of blackmail.
They were arrested by Wiltshire police at around 6.30am this morning (Wednesday, January 11).
The pair are both from the Malmesbury area but cannot be named for legal reasons, due to their age.
A spokesperson for Malmesbury police said in a statement on Facebook: “In the early hours of this morning Team 4 Response have arrested two youths from the Malmesbury area for numerous offences in response to concerns from the community and local intelligence.
“Enquiries into the investigation are ongoing whilst the youths are in custody.”
