A man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in Gloucester on Friday night (August 26).
The alleged incident happened in bushes near the Gulf petrol station off Horton Road between 8pm and 8.40pm.
A man is said to have met the victim at the bus station before they walked to the Horton Road area, where he raped her and fled.
Following a public appeal, a 28-year-old man from Gloucester attended a police station last night (August 28) and remains in police custody.
