Emergency services were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision in Charlton Road, Tetbury at around 4.20pm on Thursday, (29 September).
One car was involved in a collision with a stationary vehicle.
The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered.
A man in his 70s was assessed by paramedics at the scene and is understood to have not suffered any serious injuries.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
