A homeless man has been remanded in custody to await trial after he denied inflicting actual bodily harm on a Moreton-in-Marsh woman.
At Gloucester Crown Court yesterday Dean Davenport, 40, of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman in Moreton on September 19.
He also pleaded not guilty to breaching a restraining order that had been activated in May last year.
Defending, Matthew Harbinson told the court that Davenport believed at the time that the restraining order had been revoked.
Davenport was remanded in custody until his trial, which is scheduled to begin on January 27.
