
A MAN was punched several times by a group in an assault which took place yesterday.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a man was assaulted in Gloucester yesterday, Tuesday, April 5.
It was reported that a man and woman were walking along Southgate Street at around 4.45pm when a white Vauxhall Corsa pulled up alongside them.
Three young men got out before an altercation took place between the group and the man near to Five Star Taxi’s.
He was punched multiple times by the group before police arrived.
One suspect was detained however two suspects fled the scene.
The victim sustained injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
One of the men was described as being white, in his early 20s and had a black goatee with dark hair which was in a top knot.
He was wearing black joggers and a black hoodie with orange/yellow/gold writing.
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward as well as any drivers who may have dashcam footage that could assist with the investigation.
