A MAN who beeped his car horn during a Remembrance service in a Stroud park has been charged with a public order offence.

A spokesman for Gloucestershire police said that officers had tracked down the 44-year-old driver, who beeped his horn during the Remembrance service in Park Gardens on Sunday morning.

In a tweet, Gloucestershire police said: “A male who disrespected the Remembrance service at Park Gardens, Stroud by beeping his car horn and causing harassment, alarm and distress, has been tracked down and given a ticket for a public order offence.”
