Sarah Barwin, aged 39, of Eggshill Lane, Yate, was caught on the southbound carriageway at 51mph on August 17 in a Mercedes-Benz.
She must pay a total of £402 and was issued with three penalty points when the case was dealt with at Bath Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 17.
Barwin admitted the offence under the single justice procedure.
She was fined £223, ordered to pay an £89 victim services surcharge plus £90 costs.
The total must be paid by May 12.
