Painswick Rococo Garden boasts one of the largest collections of naturalised snowdrops in the country.
The garden and beauty spot is famed for its blooms and the annual display draws thousands of visitors keen to see the small white flowers.
Early snowdrops begin to burst into flower from January but by February the snowdrops really get going and the full display comes into its best.
The garden was designed in the 1740s as a fanciful pleasure garden for the owner of Painswick House and guests.
Photographer Paul Nicholls arranged for Kirstie Clarke and Andrew Elrick of Past-Times Living History to react romantic scenes from the past with costumes which you can see here.
The garden is open until Monday, February 27.
