Pictures of scene after pedestrian hit near Stroud

Police were called after a car hit a pedestrian at Salmon Springs on the A46 between Stroud and Painswick at around 10am.

Pictures of the scene show drivers attempting to drive past the police barriers.

The Painswick Road is still expected to remain closed in both directions for a number of hours.

Drivers should plan accordingly.
