Police charge two men with attempted murder in Stroud

Two men have been charged with attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of a man in Stroud on Saturday.

Liam Wells, 25, of no fixed abode, and Daniel Banks, 24, of Kings Road in Rodborough, will appear in court via video link this morning.

The attack occured in the early hours of the morning on February 6 in Mathews Way, Paganhill.

The victim remains in Southmead hospital in a stable condition.

A woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on police bail to return on March 5.
