Daniel Gibbons, 35, is wanted in connection with an investigation into a theft from a shop and being in possession of a bladed article.
Avon and Somerset Police have described Gibbons as white, slim build, approximately 5ft 7ins tall with cropped brown hair.
He is often seen travelling around on an electric scooter
He has links to the city centre, Staple Hill and Kingswood areas of Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Police have been unable to locate Gibbons and are now asking for information from the public.
