THE Nailsworth Festival kicked off accompanying a bang on Saturday, providing few incredible music and dazzling stalls!

After I had stuffed myself together with incredible cheeses from Pure whey More I still requested something to finish off most liked day.

On the plus side not 100 metres inside the festival is The Britannia Resort, a fantastic pub that has been in the centre of Nailsworth for decades!

What a perfect for you to sample some of its meals.

The tavern has lovely decor and then friendly staff who will notable you with a smile whereas garden at the front is full of leaflets and the rustic building might be the perfect environment for relatives and their furry friends!

The interior is a fantastic blend of the old and very new, with exposed beams and as well bricks, mixed with a modern taverne.

On the menu couple of truly fantastic options, including everything from some pub classics, to somewhat of an finer ‘wine and dine’ options.

They also provide gluten free and simply vegan dishes.

Unfortunately the menu is small , I would have adored to see a few more options testifies dessert menu looked attractive, I simply couldn’t fit yeast infection in after my ration though, the portion ranges are very generous!

The food is well priced, which has mains ranging from £10 which will £17.

I selected to enjoy the Doom Bar battered haddock and cash, this was absolutely fantastic!

Though the batter might have been a little more crisp, the tom were fluffy, and the pike was full of flavour.

The Doom Icon batter provided a really write-up extra twist to bring the whole lot together.

Associated with the Doom Bar alcohol itself I found myself ingrdient filling my face to the point of the over eating.

Your own partner decided to delve into the type of pizza, which you can order available for takeaway.

We have a good variety of options for cheesy bread, and we landed on the capricciosa, a mix of parma ham, mushrooms, olives, and artichoke.

The base was clearly cooked, crisp but not crunchy, and the toppings were healthy, each element really being noticed.

This entre really rounded off a good day, the service ended up prompt and very friendly, combined with the food being delicious plus hot.

The meal got delivered quickly and could be presented brilliantly.

If you ever find yourself in Nailsworth wanting meal, I would recommend you pop in to the Britannia Inn and discover for yourselves.
