A Stroud man who stole ten bottles of fake tan has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Jack Geary, 36, of Slad Road, has been given a 20 week sentence, suspended for 18 months, after committing various offences over the last year.
He used threatening behaviour on Langtoft Road, Stroud, on August 12 last year and stole fake tan on three occasions on February 14 this year.
In total he stole 10 bottles, two from Superdrug and eight from Boots in Stroud High Street, at a total cost of £290.
Two days earlier, on February 12, Geary stole meat worth £29.96 from Aldi.
He resisted a police officer in the execution of his duty and was found in possession of cocaine and the opioid Subutex, also on August 12 last year.
Geary was given a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order and ordered to pay compensation of £419.96 at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on June 21.
