Plumes of thick black smoke have been sent into the air over the Forest of Dean after a fire has broken out.
The incident is taking place on Allaston Road in Lydney , at the Allaston Grove Sawmills.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire County Council said Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue was alerted at about 6.05pm and has sent four appliances to deal with the incident at Allaston Grove Sawmills; two from Lydney and two from Coleford.
Officers from Gloucestershire police were also asked to attend the scene at the request of the Fire Service, to close the road and allow them to operate.

A section of the road between Yorkley and Lydney has been closed, near the incident on Allaston Road.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police added that emergency services are expected to remain at the scene of the incident for around an hour.
People on the Facebook group Forest of Dean News Centre were saying how visible the plume of smoke was and commented how they could see it from places like Coalway, Bream, Sling.
