Safe broken into during raids on homes near Cirencester

An alert was sent by police this morning after two homes were broken into near Cirencester. 

Both of the incidents occurred on Wednesday afternoon. 

In the first incident, a property in Horcott Road, Fairford, was broken into via the back door between 1.30pm and 4.15pm. 

The safe was broken into and a silver box stolen.

In the second, a property in the Kingscote area of Tetbury was broken into through the patio door between 1.30pm and 4.15pm, although nothing was taken. 

Anyone with information should report it to the police via 101.
