THE Select Arts festival returns this month, full of inspiring things to see and enjoy, with a programme of events and an open studios art trail around the Five Valley.
For 20 years SIT select brought its focus on applied arts to Stroud through its annual festival, trail and exhibitions.
Now renamed Select Arts, former director Lizzi Walton has handed over her legacy to a new team headed by Elizabeth Bailey.
The platform will continue to promote local makers.
The Select Trail in 2021 will be taking place over two weekends, held on June 19 and 20 and June 26 and 27.
With a focus on the Five Valleys, the artist studio visits will be supported by guided routes that make the most of what their locations offer.
There is also a programme of special events, including, as pictured here, a floral solstice garlands workshop, run by Thistle by Nature on June 20.
Taking place on Sunday, June 20, from 1pm to 4pm, participants will create a fresh, seasonal and sustainably sourced floral solstice garland to take home.
