Søstrene Grene’s new shop, located at the High Street entrance of The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham, will open on Friday, April 28 at 10am.
The first 100 customers will get a free large rug and a canvas goodie bag filled with a selection of Søstrene Grene products.
A string quartet and interior designer and TV presenter Georgina Burnett will also be making an appearance at the store’s opening.
The Cheltenham branch is part of Søstrene Grene’s further expansion into the south of England.
This will mark the brand’s eleventh store launch in the UK, following the recent openings in Derby, Glasgow and Newbury last year.
Cheltenham customers can expect regular product drops and seasonal collections including contemporary interiors, hobby items, children’s toys, soft furniture, kitchen accessories and more.
The 320 sq. metres site will also continue the roll out of Søstrene Grene’s new store concept ‘Retail for the Senses’, a unique shopping experience designed to invoke the senses.
This new concept aims to create a more interesting and free-flowing journey for customers.
Søstrene Grene are also committed to sharing the Danish notion of ‘hygge’, a special state of contentment, warmth and belonging.
Mikkel Grene, CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, said: “We’re very excited to open our Cheltenham store.
“The Brewery Quarter is a location we have wanted to trade in for a while now and we can’t wait to offer customers a moment of ‘hygge’ in our new store.”
UK Joint Venture partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who already run Søstrene Grene stores across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, are also looking forward to opening their next site.
Norma Jacob, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our newest store in Cheltenham.
“The Brewery Quarter is the perfect fit for Søstrene Grene’s minimalistic, Scandinavian designs and we are expecting to see huge demand following our opening in late April.”
Richard Power said: “The introduction of our new store concept combined with our prime location within the towns leading leisure and dining destination is setting up for a very exciting opening, and we have every confidence that our store will flourish in Cheltenham.”
