Steiff teddy bear stolen from Cotswold auction house

A RARE expensive teddy bear has been stolen from an auction house in the Cotswolds.

Police are now appealing for information in connection with the theft of the antique Steiff teddy bear.

It was reported that the beige/tan coloured bear with orange feet was stolen from an auction house on the Square in Stow on the afternoon of Friday, August 13.

An offender is believed to have entered the store before browsing and leaving with the soft toy.

Investigating officers have completed a number of enquiries since the incident but are yet to locate the stolen teddy bear and are now asking for information from the public.

Alternatively information can be submitted by calling 101 or anonymously by calling the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
