Stroud drivers warned of six motorway closures this week

Stroud’s motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M5, from midnight, December 4 2021 to 6am April 26 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 13 to 14 narrow lanes for footbridge works.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M5, from 10pm April 25 to 6am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 13 to 15 mobile lane closure in both directions for maintenance works.

• M5, from 6am April 26 to 5.30pm July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 13 to 14 hardshould closures for bridge works.

• M5, from 10pm April 26 to 6am April 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 14 to 13 closed for general maintenance works. Diversion via A38.

• M5, from 10pm May 2 to 6am May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 9 to 20 mobile lane closure in both directions for maintenance works.

• M5, from 9pm May 3 to 4am May 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 13 lane closure for electrical works.
