A 42-YEAR-old Stroud man who has not passed his driving test has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving in Gloucester in February.

At Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday Daniel Hall of Hill Top Close in Slad, Stroud, admitted driving a Ford Puma dangerously in the city on February 27 this year.

He also admitted possessing a quantity of cocaine on the same date; driving without insurance, driving without a valid licence and failure to provide a urine specimen at the time of arrest.

However, he denied possessing a quantity of heroin on February 27.

The prosecutor told the court that the drugs were found in a body search at Gloucestershire Police’s custody suite.

Joe Maloney defending said: “Hall claims he only had cocaine on him at the time of arrest and not heroin. He is very clear about this.”

The prosecution didn’t challenge this and said that the details should lie on file.

Hall was given an interim driving ban and will be sentenced on December 2.

Hall was released on bail until his court hearing next month.
