Ms Cornell took to social media this afternoon to announce that the Labour Party had ‘decided she wasn’t suitable to be on the parliamentary longlist for Stroud’.
“I’m disappointed local members won’t get to choose whether or not to vote for me.
“I will be putting out a statement later today.
“Thank you everyone for your wonderful support.”
