Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting three school children with a metal bar in a Cotswold village.
Police say that ‘on at least one occasion’, a metal bar was used as a weapon, resulting in minor injuries to the children.
The incidents happened on March 14 in Bourton-on-the-Water.
Officers swooped on one of the suspect’s homes seizing two bars similar to those alleged to have been used in the attacks, and a small quantity of cannabis.
The teenagers were arrested on Tuesday, April 2, in connection with the assault.
Both teenagers remain in police custody at this time.
