A NURSING home in Tetbury is in lockdown over coronavirus fears.
Management at Kingsley House Nursing Home, based on Gumstool Hill, have decided it will be on lockdown from today until further notice.
A spokesman for the nursing home said: “We are taking the next phase of our precautionary measure in line with Public Health England and our own Pandemic Contingency plan to ensure that our residents and staff are safe as possible.
“Strict restrictions to visitors entering the home will be minimal allowing staff, medical professionals and essential services only.
“Our staff will ensure that all our residents remains well cared for. This is not a decision we have taken lightly.
“Your support is very much appreciated and we are doing our very best to keep your loved ones safe.
