A obituary stone has been dedicated to rugby players in Gloucester that lost their lives in all world wars.

The stone grades the history of the Memorial Sky, which was bought for society clubs with money grown after World War The.

It is a safe tribute to the dozens of early players who fought in addition to died.

Martin Slatter, from Beneficial old Cryptians RFC and Widden Old Boys RFC, documented the unveiling “had ended up a very emotional thing for all of us”.
