Two men were attacked in a Stroud park on Friday evening.

Police were called to Queen Elizabeth II Field at around 10pm following reports that two men had been attacked by another two men before a number of items were mislaid or possibly stolen.

These items included a fluorescent green lanyard with a small plastic ID card on it from a local company and a burgundy Nike baseball cap with a white tick.

A set of keys on a keyring were also found in the area and police are hoping to return them to the rightful owner.
