A LORRY, a tractor and a car were involved in a serious crash near Cricklade yesterday (Saturday).

Two people were taken to hospital after the collision on the A419.

The tractor driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to the Great Western Hospital with head injuries, although his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the lorry, a woman in her 30s, was also taken to the GWH with minor injuries.

The driver of the car, a Ford Fiesta, was not injured.

Police, ambulance, air ambulance and firefighter crews from Stratton and Swindon attended the incident and the road was closed for three hours.

Firefighters at the scene also took care of a dog that was in the cab of the lorry at the time of the crash.
